Trading Post In The Woods is an American owned and operated store run by a team of crisis first responders. Having responded to 17 major disasters and 27 years of combined experience, the owners have learned first-hand about the destruction, chaos, lack of preparedness, the reality after the storm, and the response of humanity in a disaster site. We have a passion to help those who want to be prepared for life in general and in the event of a disaster. We specialize in comprehensive natural survival remedy kits, preparedness and homesteading supplies and skills training; whether it is medical, homeopathy, herbal, preparedness skills, or homesteading skills, there are a wide range to choose from. Our store is just like the ones your great-grandparents use to shop at with the same charm and hospitality but with improved products and trainings. The more prepared you are before the crisis the easier it will be.

Important 2016 Spring and Summer INVENTORY Notice!
We are currently booked extensively to speak/teach at numerous Disaster Preparedness, Homesteading Seminars, Festivals and Conventions during 2016. Product availability at these venues has been prioritized as a contractual matter. Many items we sell at conventions are not currently offered on our site. If you attended one of our trainings and are wanting to purchase some of the supplies we offered from our booth you will need to contact us directly at 912-996-7601 – that includes all the Thrive specialty packages and medical supplies.
